Congrats on victory over Florida. I'm still cheering for the "Blue" and have been active at Bay Street Orthopaedics for 49 years. Some of my avocations are restoring a Victorian house in Hancock MI, skiing at Cooper Mountain, auto restoration, vintage rallying and walking my Bernese Mountain dog.

Obviously, fraternity life means different things to different people. Many of my best friends then are still best friends now. My years at PDT are among my best ever. The work done by the hard-working alumni committee has been and is outstanding. The chapter house never looked better, in a time when many PDTs are "going under" (including Mich. State). I urge every brother who has fond memories of PDT to make a donation. You'll never regret it.

Four Phis of the 50's, Bob Fritts '57; Pete Wolgast '57; Bill Libby '54; and Tom Mericle '54, plus our wives and a few other friends shared old and new things as we traveled together in New Zealand in February 2007. The tour was organized and led by Bill and Iris Libby, who lived in New Zealand half-time during 1991-1999. One of the benefits of a good Michigan education, and lasting bonds of friendship.

I continue to work as a general surgeon in Sault St. Marie. I retired in 2004 after over 40 years in the Navy Reserve with service in the last three conflicts. I would love to hear from anyone in class of 1961 or thereabouts. My wife Barb of 43+ years and I come down for 3-4 games each fall. We have two boys and three grandchildren.

My wife and I have been living for seven years in New London, NH enjoying retirement.

I have just had a book published "Have the Time of Your Life in Retirement" by Tote Publising and Enterprises. It was written to help people transition from working to retirement and to help current retirees maximize their fulfillment from their retirement years.

I made it to 3 games this year. The present Phi's seem like good guys. Unfortunately, I did not see a single alumni.

Over the past few years we've had great Phi Delt Alumni meetings in Las Vegas which have included Pete Donne, Pete Tarpey, Darryl Fredricks,Dave Rosso, Andrew Wrinstein, tom Truske and Jess Kremin.

I see Rich Kennedy on occasion as we both live in Charlotte.

Congratulations on getting the fraternity back on campus!
