Michigan is in the midst of a $226 million renovation project which has brought about both controversy and a legal battle.

The renovation of Michigan Stadium has sparked criticism from many different sources. Among the complaints is the fact that the stadium won't be able to used for graduation ceremonies this semester. According to a Detroit free press article, the ceremonies will instead be moved to Eastern Michigan University's football stadium. The move has created anger among students who had hoped to enjoy the experience of graduating in one of the biggest venues in the nation.
